ROME Prelude
🏛️ Ease into your Italian journey with two nights in Rome, staying at the elegant Boutique Hotel San Anselmo in the leafy Aventino neighborhood. With quiet gardens and tree-lined avenues, it’s a peaceful retreat—yet only a short stroll from the heart of the city.
✨ Guests may choose from single or double occupancy rooms; please note that we do not pair up travelers, so double occupancy requires booking with your own roommate. All rooms feature modern comforts including Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a safe, and a minibar.
DAY 1: Arrival & Welcome Dinner
On your first evening, you’ll be greeted by our friendly local guide for a relaxed dinner at a favorite Roman trattoria. It’s an easy, convivial way to begin your travels—sharing authentic flavors, stories, and conversation in true Roman style.
DAY 2: Hidden Rome Walking Tour & Leisure Time
This morning, enjoy a three-hour guided walk that steers away from the usual crowded sights. Instead of the Vatican or Colosseum, your guide will lead you through Rome’s hidden gems:
- Magnificent, lesser-known churches with breathtaking art and architecture
- Elegant avenues lined with palaces and shaded courtyards
- Panoramic views over St. Peter’s Basilica and the Circus Maximus
- A handful of secret corners that reveal the true character of the Eternal City
After lunch on your own (our guide will have plenty of suggestions), the afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy at leisure. We’ll provide a curated list of suggestions—whether you’d like to browse artisan shops, relax in a café, or explore another neighborhood at your own pace.
DAY 3: Transfer to Tuscany
On your final morning, private transportation will bring you comfortably back to Rome Fiumicino Airport, where you’ll meet our drivers and join the rest of the group for the journey north into the Tuscan countryside. From here, the main adventure begins!
