Provence Cultural Adventure

PROVENCE Cultural Adventure
Magical, sun bathed Provence stretches from the Alps in the north to the Mediterranean Sea in the south to the Rhône River in the west. Known for its rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves and irresistible villages, Provence’s magical light and stunning scenery have attracted travelers and artists for centuries, including Van Gogh, Cézanne, and Matisse. Settled extensively by the ancient Romans, some of the best preserved Roman ruins in the world are right here. The region’s culture is deeply rooted in its cuisine, arts, and architecture, and is known for its vibrant markets and festivals. Plus the Provencal cuisine is famous for its fresh ingredients, like olive oil, herbs, and a fabulous variety of artisan cheeses and local vegetables.
