OPTIONAL SPA VISIT!! 

On Friday, October 25th, we’ll be visiting the town of San Casciano for a morning tour of an archeological site, followed by lunch in the village. Some have expressed interest in also going to the nearby thermal spa, Fonteverde. So, after lunch we’ve arranged a 2-hour block for those who would like to soak in the naturally hot, mineral-rich waters at the spa. There is also a thermal waterfall that you can sit under, as well as various jets throughout the pools.

Note that this is an optional extra. Should you wish to skip the spa and return to Città della Pieve for the remainder of the afternoon, that’s just fine. If you’d instead like to be included at the spa, the cost is $60 USD. This includes 2-hour use of the pools and changing room, use of a robe, towel and slippers, plus transportation to Fonteverde and back to Città della Pieve afterwards.
